Overview:

This session is built for working project managers across waterfall, agile, and hybrid environments. We start by mapping the typical PM week - status reports, stand-ups, stakeholder updates, risk reviews, change control, retros - and identify where AI earns the most time back. We then work through each one. We turn a messy stand-up note into a clean status report. We build a risk register from a brain-dump and stress-test it with ChatGPT acting as a critical reviewer. We rewrite stakeholder updates in three different tones for three different audiences from the same source material. We summarise long meeting transcripts into decisions, owners, and actions. We analyse a project schedule export and ask ChatGPT to find the awkward dependencies. We draft change request narratives that read like a human wrote them, because a human did - with help. We use Custom GPTs to lock in your reporting structure so every weekly update follows the same shape. We close on the limits: hallucinated risks, made-up owners, plausible-but-wrong dates, and how to sanity-check before you send. You leave with an end-to-end PM playbook for working with AI properly.

Why you should Attend:

Project management is, in honest terms, a job mostly made of text. Status reports, stakeholder updates, risk registers, meeting minutes, scope documents, change requests, lessons-learned reports, and the endless follow-up emails that keep the whole thing moving. None of that is the actual delivery work. All of it has to happen anyway. ChatGPT and the wider AI toolset cut a serious chunk out of the text overhead so PMs can spend more time on the parts of the role that actually need a human - relationships, judgement, prioritisation, the conversations that move things forward. This session shows project managers exactly how. We work through the artefacts and rituals you already produce every week, and we replace the slow parts with AI-assisted versions that are faster, more consistent, and frankly often better written. We also cover the limits - where AI helps and where it quietly makes things worse - so you ship with confidence rather than crossed fingers.

  • Drafting change requests, scope notes, and lessons-learned reports
  • Using Custom GPTs to standardise weekly reporting across a portfolio
  • Combining ChatGPT with Microsoft Copilot, Planner, and Project tools
  • The limits: hallucinated risks, made-up dates, and how to verify before you send

Who Will Benefit:
