ChatGPT 101 - Beginners Guide

This session assumes no prior experience with ChatGPT and no technical background. We start at the very beginning: what ChatGPT is, what it is not, and what to expect when you open it for the first time. We walk through creating an account, choosing a plan, and finding your way around the interface. We then write our first prompts together, and learn the small handful of habits that separate a good answer from a bad one - being specific, giving context, asking for the format you want, and following up rather than starting over. We try out the features most beginners never discover on their own: uploading a document and asking questions about it, using voice, generating images, sharing a chat, and saving useful conversations as Projects. We talk plainly about what ChatGPT gets wrong and why, so you know when to trust it. You leave with confidence, a few favourite use cases of your own, and the answer to every "how do I" question your colleagues are about to ask you.
