Many professionals (including Angie Weinberger) dream about living a digital nomad lifestyle. However, in any city or country you have basic cost you need to cover. You will need a tax base too. In this workshop we look at how you can live like a minimalist even in cities with a high cost of living such as Zurich.

Speaker Profile

Angela Weinberger is a Zurich-based Global Mobility and HR expert, executive coach, and inclusive entrepreneur with broad experience in banking and professional services. She began her career specializing in Global Mobility and has since established herself as a respected thought leader in the field. In 2010, she founded Global People Transitions Ltd., where she blends technical expertise with executive coaching to support expatriates, global leaders, and international teams in managing cross-cultural transitions and career development.

With more than 10,000 coaching hours and having supported over 600 expatriates, Angela is a Master Certified Coach (MCC) recognized for her expertise in systemic consulting, transactional analysis, and the VERMEULEN® method. Alongside her consulting and coaching work, she is an experienced lecturer, workshop facilitator, intercultural trainer, speaker, podcast host, and blogger. She also regularly shares thought leadership on Global Mobility and is the co-author of the upcoming book Global Mobility: The Taxation and Management of Internationally Mobile Employees (2026).

Having lived and worked in Germany, Australia, the UK, India, and Switzerland, Angela brings a truly global and intercultural perspective to her work. She has also been recognized for her contributions to diversity and inclusion, including nominations for the Diversity Ally and Empowering Women awards.

When Angela is not working, she enjoys the outdoors, the theatre, opera, and concerts, as well as spicy food from all over the world. The music of the 70s has a special place in her heart.
