Overview:

The Valuation ‘tools of the trade’ vary between sectors of the Equity Markets. Understanding which to apply, where & when, is essential knowledge for anyone involved in these Markets, either as an active direct Investor or an indirect Equity Fund holder. What matters is what the Company does, not where it is listed.

Why you should Attend:

You would not value an Insurance Company like a Retailer. Similarly you would not value an Airline like a Bank etc.

Some Valuation Tools travel well across borders, others less so. Understanding the difference is crucial.

This program will offer participants an insight into how professional Traders, Analysts & Portfolio Managers navigate the worlds’ Equity Markets.

Numerically it is not as complicated as you might think.

Areas Covered in the Session:

  • The most (over) used metric in the Market - The Price Earnings Ratio
  • Dividend-related methodology - Yields
  • Asset Based methodology - Price to Book Value; Tangible vs Intangible Assets
  • Sales Based methodology - How to explain Tesla’s valuation
  • Enterprise Values & EBITDA explained

Who Will Benefit:

  • Middle & Back Office Professionals from Exchanges
  • Regulators
  • Asset Managers
  • FinTechs
  • Fund Administrators
  • Investment Banks
  • Wealth Managers
  • Custodians
  • Clearing Houses
